MSV 2019 - International Engineering Fair (IEF) is the most important industrial fair in Central Europe, with more than 1,600 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors participating every year. Over 50% of exhibitors and 10% of visitors come from abroad.
Attendees are professionals, with over 70% having influence over investment decisions and one-third being top managers. All key areas of engineering and electrical engineering are represented. The main theme of the IEF is Industry 4.0 and the Digital Factory, in other words, the digitalization of production, which is one of the main directions of the innovation process. In 2019, the Transport and Logistics fair, as well as the ENVITECH fair will be held in parallel to the IEF. The emphasised theme of ENVITECH is the circular economy - the handling of material resources. It is a trend that is one of the priority areas of sustainable development, which is resulting in the adaptation of industry and trade. The IEF has traditionally received high media attention, with around three hundred accredited journalists assigned to covering it.
